I'm an adult now!

Wow, It's incredible, but I've turned 18, and although I'm legally an adult, I still feel like a little kid!
Time has really flown! It's really odd referring to yourself as an adult, but so far I haven't really had a taste of the adult life yet, but I guess that'll come with time.

Starting University means that there's a whole lot of responsibility to live up to, completing assignments, not missing your lectures, and so It's not like I'm moving into the unknown, as I've been at Uni for a month now, so I'm in the groove of things, but now it seems all those areas and events that I couldn't access being 17, have finally been 'unlocked' and It's like a new chapter to my life! So I hope to find some cool new things and I'm excited for the future!

Recapping on my past, I have to say, I've had some bad times, but some really good ones I'll never forget.
One of them in particular was when I was 3 years old. It was late at night, and I couldn't sleep, so I went to the living room, and turned the light on, and my father noticed, and had come to check on me. I told him I couldn't sleep, and so he made us some toast with marmelade, and he comforted me. I'll never forget that. And I slept really well after!

Others have been all the friends I've made, and also all the people I've met online, and who I've made friends with on sites. I've been really lucky to meet such nice people! And so thank you to all my friends!

I've dealt with bullying, (subtle) racism and really bad moments where I wished I had never been born, but I'm glad I've pushed through, as it does get better!
